GLOBAL ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAMME

ACCEPTS STATBOARD LTD.

The increasing demand for data analytics and actionable metrics by enterprises globally is a key factor in driving the growth of the global business intelligence market. There are many enterprise BI products that are used by a single company. What sets STATBOARD apart is that it is designed as an inter-organizational BI tool that enables data and performance comparisons between multiple organizations. That is why STATBOARD has been accepted to the Department for International Trade’s Global Entrepreneur Programme (GEP).

The GEP is a UK Department of International Trade initiative that seeks to enable technology entrepreneurs from all over the world to globalize their business from a UK strategic hub. They give early-stage companies, like STATBOARD, the tools they need to grow and succeed in global markets and have developed a highly innovative business model that helps early-stage companies to scale internationally. It does this by harnessing the insight, networks and experience of its team of internationally successful entrepreneurs, known as “dealmakers”, to identify and accelerate the world’s best early-stage technology businesses.

The GEP’s dynamic team of dealmakers has helped more than 350 entrepreneurs and early-stage technology companies to establish a global HQ, in the UK. They have achieved this by:

  • harnessing the insight and networks of their own team of internationally successful entrepreneurs
  • leveraging these networks to help accelerate their client businesses realize the potential of their innovative ideas
  • identifying world class IP and enabling client companies to access industry talent and expertise
  • raising investment capital – with over US $550 million raised so far

“The GEP is instrumental in bringing together networks that bring UK innovation to the forefront. By working with investors and entrepreneurs, the Dealmaker team has attracted stellar entrepreneurs that have created new technologies which has led to new markets.” Heidi Roizen, Silicon Valley-based Venture Partner at DFJ, experienced entrepreneur and lecturer at Stanford University STATBOARD’s GEP Dealmaker is Sheetal Mehta Walsh.

She has over 18 years of experience in technology, venture capital and social enterprise, and has served as a Dealmaker to the Global Entrepreneur Programme since 2006 in London and is now based in San Francisco. Sheetal has worked with over 250 Start-ups and now is advisor and investor to a select few, helping them expand globally and often enhancing their social impact.

STATBOARD LTD joins the ranks of other GEP companies such as: Think Positive-Australia, SOMA Analytics-Germany, CrowdEmotion-Canada, Carbon Clean Solutions-India, jobandtalent-Spain, Nutmeg-United States and 2-B Energy-Netherlands.

STATBOARD is targeting three UK markets where an inter-organizational BI product has the most value:
